London being the melting pot of various people of different nationalities gives foodies a chance to explore different cuisines.
This cafe is situated in the street thronging with numerous restaurants predominantly middle eastern.
We started with the mutton samosa which is similar to the Indian version but differs in the spicing of the meat filling in that the flavours are more subtle.
Next they brought out the traditional pita bread served with the garlic sauce and chili sauce with the hummus.
I went with the Stuffed chicken for main which was a tender chicken leg served on top of a mound of delicately spiced rice garnished with vegetables like roast peppers ,aubergines carrots and pine nuts.It was very enjoyable especially when paired with the chilli sauce.
The other dishes my companions ordered were the stuffed lamb and a kebab dish which was topped with a yogurt sauce. It was all tasty and very filling.
We ordered Kunafe which is a fried cheese pastry drizzled with syrup and Makhlabieh which is a kind of milk pudding for desserts. Both were great.
The owner also served us some traditional Lebanese Butter Cookies and a platter of cut fruits.
The service is very efficent and the wait staff are also friendly and welcoming.
Amazing food and beverages. One of the most traditional Lebanese grill. Enjoyed with family, friends and kids. If you really wanna try something of this kind, I highly recommend you to go there.
One of the best Lebanese restaurants in Edgware Road. We were walking down the road from Paddington station, when we spotted this place. I am planning a visit to Lebanon, so thought of having a dry run before actually landing in Beirut. The place is inviting, the guys handling the guests are friendly and they make you feel welcomed!! We planned to have veg food, so we ordered a mezza platter which was a assembly of all possible vegetarian items. The platter was served with pickles, chutney, spices, fluffy bread. It was almost like a KING' s dinner. The hotel guys were always around to take care of us. With the bill, you will get a complimentary fruit salad 👻. This place has a typical middle eastern vibe to it. You feel like you are sitting in Beirut albeit without any fear of a Israeli strike !!! Overall, a good place to dine 👍🏻
